嗯，就是俺在每周报告中提到的那个Glover，签了十天短约。
Dion Glover，1999年大二时被亚特兰大鹰队第20位选中，这位乔治亚人在1999-03赛季为亚特兰大出场273场比赛，2003-04赛季前55场在亚特兰大，后为多伦多猛龙效力14场。287场比赛场均8.3分3.1个篮板1.6次助攻。
这个赛季初在土耳其的Ulker Istanbul打球。（Ulker目前在EL的D组1胜3负列末位，晋级渺茫）
生于1978年10月22日，1.96m，102.1kg
稍前Mike Wilks再次被置于伤病名单，左膝盖。

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Spurs (http://www.chinaspurs.com) today announced that they have signed guard Dion Glover to a 10-day contract. Glover, a five-year NBA veteran, started the 2004-05 season with Ulker Istanbul in the Turkish Basketball League.
Glover was selected by the Atlanta Hawks (20th overall) in the 1999 NBA Draft after his sophomore year at Georgia Tech. The Marietta, Georgia native spent his first four NBA seasons with the Hawks (1999-2003) seeing action in 273 games. He split the 2003-04 season between Atlanta and Toronto. The 6-5 guard has averaged 8.3 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 287 career games.
Earlier today the Spurs (http://www.chinaspurs.com) placed guard Mike Wilks on the injured list with left knee patella tendinitis. Wilks is averaging 1.4 points and 0.5 assists in 4.7 minutes per game this season.1

在签约Glover之前，马刺也曾试训原来选中的Derrick Dial，也曾想找来一位大前锋增加Duncan和Horry的候补实力
Glover的身体状况和投篮状态都让人满意，如果季后赛遇到太阳、超音速或小牛时，马刺可能会较多的时间用1+4的小个阵容，Glover用以增加锋卫板凳实力
这么说，现在签的人还是有资格参加季后赛的（哎，真是懒，这个日期一直没查，就这么推算了）
The Spurs (http://www.chinaspurs.com) worked out a handful of players, including former draft pick Derrick Dial, before signing Glover. They also looked at bringing in a power forward to improve depth behind Tim Duncan (http://www.chinaspurs.com/players/tim_duncan) and Robert Horry (http://www.chinaspurs.com/players/robert_horry).
Though the Spurs (http://www.chinaspurs.com) continue to explore options, for now, Glover gives them another threat should they meet Phoenix, Seattle or Dallas in the playoffs and use a small lineup.
Point guard Mike Wilks, placed on the injured list to make room for Glover, also remains a candidate for the final opening on the playoff roster. Adding a bigger guard such as Glover, who has a thick 6-foot-5 frame, increases the Spurs' depth at the wing position — a necessity when they choose to go small.
In addition to Glover's size and athleticism, the Spurs (http://www.chinaspurs.com) were pleased to see he was motivated to remain in good shape the past month despite being without a team. He also shot well during his workout.

有人能介绍一下他在球场上的表现吗？我看他的数据一般般。在spursreport看到有说他不是一个好的中投手。
难道他在场上会对队友使用battle command battle order 向对手使用battle cry.所以其作用不是数据能表现出来的。
在hc看到有人说到对其人的印象是有一次快攻。差点撞到还在场地上檫地的球童。比赛结束后为表示吓到他的歉意。把球衣送给了那个球童。挺有意思的。

马刺管理层的动作几乎没让我失望过
关于这个人．．．

而且现在自由市场上像他这样有点名头的应该很少了
ＳＡＴＯ再在外边练练吧
看看人家ＳＣＯＬＡ和ＪＡＶＴＯＫＡＳ这级别的还在外被晒了好几年呢

Kori: Obviously the Spurs (http://www.chinaspurs.com) feel they need another guard for at least the next ten games. That may mean that Ginobili needs more rest and he doesn't want to burn out the others with big minutes.
When they started looking at Dial, I knew there had to be someone better out there. I'm not sure if Glover is it. I think they looked at Glover not last summer, but the one before. So they might think that he will be good just to fill in a few minutes a game so as not to burn out guys like Barry (he played 40 minutes in the last game).
I understood they weren't bring in another big right now because they are already acclimating Nazr to the system, so they didn't really need to be teaching two bigmen at this point in the season.
Timvp: Even though this may be a move for only the Bobcats game, it's worth it. If the Spurs (http://www.chinaspurs.com) are blowing out the Bobcats, Glover can eat up some of the fourth quarter time and let Bruce, Devin and Brent rest.
If he does well, the Spurs (http://www.chinaspurs.com) could sign him for the rest of the season and use him as insurance in case one of their swingmen go down. If he doesn't play well, he's gone in 10 days

当他们开始看上dial时。我知道应该有一个更好的人。我不确信glover是不是？我认为他们看中的不是去年夏天的glover而是之前的表现的他。马刺希望其能在比赛中打少量的时间以便使barry这样的球员不至于太劳累（上场比赛barry打了40分钟）
我意识到他们现在没有再找来一个大个子，因为已经使nmd适应了体系，本赛季确实不需要在这个位置上安置两个大个子。
TIMVP:尽管这可能只是为和山猫的比赛而作出的举动。它也值了。假如马刺轻松打垮山猫。glover可以打发第4节垃圾时间以便让bowen.brown.barry多休息。
假如他干得好，马刺可以在剩下的赛季签下他作为他们锋卫摇摆人有问题时的保障。假如他不行。10天后就让他走人。
先从简单的翻译起。

这家伙我记得以前还不错，在鹰队打过很长时间的主力，怎么会混的没球打了呢？真奇怪
Javtokas (http://www.chinaspurs.com/players/robertas_javtokas/)好像是立陶宛的中锋，并没有立陶宛的后卫Jasikevicius出色。
中锋怎么和后卫比？ :D
Jasikevicius是欧洲一流后卫
Scola其实没那么强的，在欧洲也就那样
马刺今天签的10天短工Dion Glover为Ulker打了常规赛，在Top 16开战前被裁，取而代之的是经验丰富的Dusan Vukcevic，后者参加了前两次Final Four。Glover在14场常规赛场均得到8.5分3.2个篮板，而在土耳其联赛中场均11.2分3.6个篮板。
