Originally from France, 6-2 Tony Parker (http://www.chinaspurs.com/players/tony_parker) team-up with Manu Ginobili (http://www.chinaspurs.com/players/manu_ginobili) and Tim Duncan (http://www.chinaspurs.com/players/tim_duncan) of San Antonio Spurs (http://www.chinaspurs.com) defeated Detroit Pistons in Game 7 during the recent NBA Finals. His success was celebrated back home in France as as well with fans all around the world.
During his fourth year at the Spurs, Parker is averaging 14.0 points, 5.3 assists and 3.0 rebounds with .458% shooting percentage. Tony's future goal is hoping to become an NBA All-Star. “It would have meant so much to basketball in France if I had been on the team. But I am young, and a lot of other guys didn’t make it, either. I have time.” said Parker.
