基本上这是一场非常马刺的比赛，典型的马刺式的比赛风格：主力拉开差距，上替补被对手追一些分数，再上主力拉开差距确保胜局；当然了，罚球也一如既往的非常马刺
开场后，Duncan在篮下连续单打得手，这或许是新赛季最值得期待的一点，那就是人们熟悉的Tim又回来了，灵活的脚步移动显示那个该死的足底筋膜炎确实已经远离他了……此后Parker小弟在主场观众的助威声中开始了雷阿普表演，快攻一条龙＋失去平衡后的上篮And 1，基本上新赛季TP依然会是Duncan之外马刺最可靠、最稳定的得分点(By the way，这场比赛出手多是很正常的，在法国自然会多表现一些，不过第一节前6分钟的进攻很明显的可以看到，TD和TP支配球的时间占据了绝大多数)……Manu出乎意料的出现在了首发阵容之中，不过开局阶段他打得比较谨慎……

当TP和TD都下场休息时，也依然是由Manu来组织发起进攻，他也继续用高效率的表现保持了球队的进攻火力，突破、分球，犀利无比。

Finley：跳投依然稳定，新赛季Manu可靠的后备

Vaughn (http://www.chinaspurs.com/players/jacque_vaughn)：速度比想象中来得快，一次人群中的转身突破上篮很漂亮，组织进攻的意识也不错，如果能适应球队的体系，那么还是很有希望成为第一替补PG的
Horry：他真的老了，当Horry和Oberto (http://www.chinaspurs.com/players/fabricio_oberto)或Elson同时在场的时候，马刺的篮板就会立刻失控，新赛季，常规赛中Horry还是应该更多的休息，Big Shot Bob就留到季后赛再用吧

暴露的问题：
TD下场后，球队的篮板依然很渣，这个上赛季败给小牛的重要因素本赛季依然会困扰球队(再重复一次，小球战术不是失败的根本原因)，因为除了Duncan，球队找不到一个可靠的篮板手，特别是Bowen和Horry的篮板能力严重退化；不过如果Oberto (http://www.chinaspurs.com/players/fabricio_oberto)能有进步或者是Elson的运动力能加以弥补的话，那么或许今年对上小牛就不需要采用小球战术了
另外，TD和TP同时下场后，球队的进攻依然会陷入间歇性的恐慌，特别是Manu信心不足的情况下，球队这时很难制造出像样的得分机会，如何解决TD、TP不在场时的进攻，会是一个棘手的问题。
