Tony Parker
Dime: What do you consider your style off the court?
Tony Parker: It depends on the event, it depends where I’m going, it depends what I’m doing, but if I’m in San Antonio it’s a shirt and jeans. Elegant but nothing fancy, ya know?
Dime: What kind of music are you into? What’s on your iPod?
Tony: I listen to rap music mostly. Both French and American styles of music.
Dime: Who is your favorite French rapper?
Tony: I like Booba. He’s one of the top French rappers right now.
Dime: What would you do if you weren’t playing basketball?
Tony: If I were not playing basketball I think I’d play soccer. Soccer is the main sport in France so I think I’d do that.
Dime: Have you ever met Zinedine Zidane?
Tony: Yeah I have, he’s a good friend.
Dime: Who’s going to win this year’s dunk contest?
Tony: I’ll go with Josh Smith again to repeat and in second place Iguodala. But ya know what, Nate Robinson, maybe he can win because a lot of people like small guys. Nate Robinson has the biggest chance to win.
Dime : If you could play anyone in the League, past or present, in one-on-one, who would you play?
Tony: Jordan, even though he’d win.
Dime: What movies have you seen recently?
Tony: The last movie I saw was Glory Road. It was very good.
Dime: If you could have anyone play you in a movie, who would it be?
Tony: Me in a movie? Cuba Gooding.
Dime: One last question. Do you ever watch Desperate Housewives?
Tony: Yeah, I watch it.
Manu Ginobili
Dime: If you could play anyone in the League, past or present, in one-on-one, who would you play?
Manu Ginolbili: MJ. I know I’m gonna lose, but it’s a challenge.
Dime: If you were putting together a three-on-three team, you and two other guys, who would you choose?
Manu: Steve Nash and TD.
Dime: Who do you think is going to win the dunk contest this year?
Manu: I like [Hakim] Warrick.
Dime: What would you consider your style off the court? What do you like to do? What do you like to wear?
Manu: Off the court? I’m a very casual guy. I like staying at home, chilling, just watching TVor internet.
Dime: What’s your favorite television show?
Manu: Everybody Loves Raymond.
Dime: Do you ever watch Desperate Housewives with Tony?
Manu: No, I don’t. I don’t watch it with or without him. I’m not a big TV guy, but I watch it sometimes – especially movies.
Dime: What’s your favorite book?
Manu: Oh, favorite book is easy – I never read twice the same one, but I can say Alive.
Dime: What are looking forward to doing during All-Star Weekend?
Manu: Resting and enjoying some time off with my wife, a couple friends and that’s it.
Dime: What did you do this summer?
Manu: I rested, because in the last three years I’ve been playing with the national team and I didn’t have time, so this year I wanted to enjoy my family and friends in Argentina.
