Jason Conley 他是上个赛季NCAA的大惊奇人物，Conley是NCAA史上第一位一年级新生，就拿到得分王头衔的球员。他的水准到底到那里？很难说。他所处的Southern Conference并不是很强的联盟，对手也不强，而且事实上，VMI并没有因为他的疯狂得分而战绩有所回升，全季10胜18败。因此他的得分再高，也被人质疑着。

Strengths: Very good shooter from 3 and possesses a midrange game that has become a lost art. Very mature and has very good leadership skills. Quick athlete who is a high riser. Unlike alot of leapers he can take contact in the air and finish strong. Defensively he can lock payers up but has trouble with little quick guards. Rebounds very actively on both ends. Is unselfish and would have more assists if he had a better supporting cast at VMI. Plain and simple can flat out score at will.

Weaknesses: Must add bulk, right now he is far too skinny and weak to handle the strength of NBA players. Playing in such a weak conference hurts him in that he isn't seeing players his caliber night in and night out. Will be interesting to see how he responds to the added attention he will see from opposing defenses this year after drooping 29ppg last year.

Notes: Became the first freshman in NCAA history to lead the nation in scoring at 29.3 points per game. Proved that he can play at a high level against top competition with big game performances against top schools with 24 points against Kentucky, 26 points at Virginia Tech, 38 points at Villanova, 25 points at Richmond, 25 points at Virginia. Nicknamed "Coop" for his resemblance to Mark Curry of "Hanging With Mr. Cooper".
